Agribusiness Cooperation Manager China (m/w/d)
Responsibilities
- Support economic cooperation between German and Chinese agribusinesses.
- Organize matchmaking activities and networking events.
- Conduct research on China’s agribusiness environment.
- Multidisciplinary project management
- Communicate with high-level German and Chinese partners.
Profile
- University degree (Master's or equivalent) in agricultural economics, agricultural sciences, business administration, trade, development economics or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience
- 5+ years of relevant agribusiness experience / international projects
- Strong project and process management; intercultural experience
- Close familiarity with German and Chinese agricultural sectors
- Knowledge of China’s agriculture/food sector; China/East Asia experience beneficial
- Experience with private and public stakeholders
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills
- Excellent English skills
- German desired; Mandarin an asset
The project is expected to start in May 2026. The scope, start date and organisational assignment of the position will be determined once the final project tender has been issued.
